As an Assistant Veterans Service Officer, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Karen O’Bannon, Director of the Family Support Network, for the use of her building and the support she provided to the recent VA Health Care Clinic.
Thanks also to the VFW Post 2922 for their assistance that day. Thanks also to Mountain Mikes and the Oakdale Café for their generous donations.
This is the largest clinic we have had, providing services to 47 veterans. Plans are being made to have another clinic in the future.
