Dear Editor,

We have a mayor, Pat Paul, working very hard to keep Oakdale the city we all love.

We have four new candidates for the city council that have stepped forward to serve our city.

We have, as voters, an opportunity to provide ‘our city’ with a new perspective in dealing with the many problems we face.

Please consider electing a council with a fresh new attitude. There are three new candidates for the four year term; Ramona Howard, Don Petersen and J.R. McCarty. One new candidate has entered the two year term, Cher Bairos.

Let’s elect new people and give them an opportunity to serve Oakdale.
