Dear Editor,

The longer I live in Oakdale the more disappointed I get. I see the local merchants don’t want my business because I keep seeing the disabled parking spaces painted over. I see where the outside businesses are keeping the disabled spaces, but the smaller local businesses are painting them over and not replacing them (last strip mall to do this that I used to visit is on the corner of Oak and 108). Funny but there is also a kidney dialysis center there that would cater to the disabled, and they kept their two spaces, but two others were eliminated in front of the local businesses.

After 20 years of living here it is now becoming easier to spend my money elsewhere.
