TONI MARIE MUNIAIN

May 23, 1960 – Jan 15, 2015

   Toni was born May 23, 1960 in Oakdale, CA to Raymond and Georgene Muniain. She lived her entire life in Oakdale and spent the last couple of weeks in Turlock where she passed away at Emanuel Medical Center on January 15, 2015 from cancer.

   Toni graduated from Stanislaus State University with a Masters Degree of Art in 1983. She became an Elementary School teacher in the Riverbank School District and taught her entire career in Riverbank until her passing. Teaching was her true passion in life. She loved every minute with her students and with the other teachers, faculty and administrators in the district that became like a second family to her.

   Toni is survived by her father Raymond Muniain (Kathie) of Turlock. Her sister Lori Cupit (Gary) of Turlock, Sister Koni Aranda (Albert) of Ceres, brother Brian Muniain (Vonnie) of Oakdale, sister Edie Hatch (Daren & Family) of Hilmar and brother Frank (Tina & Family) of Modesto. Her aunts Sherri Wilkinson (Bill) of Arizona, Eunice Gire (Sid) of Washington, Janice Bender of Oakdale. Her uncles Richard Muniain of Oakdale and David Muniain (Patty) of Hacienda Heights.

She is also survived by the following nieces and nephew who were her greatest joy. Mandi Dias (Mike), Steven Vierra, Amy Ledbetter (Victor), Heather Ledbetter, Sandy Rand (Nate) and Hillary Stone (Chris). Also, great nephews and nieces Mason, Noah, Sofie, Lucas, Porter, Greyson and Emma.

   Toni was preceded in death by her mother Georgene Muniain, her grandparents George and Lucile Pagani, Albert and Felicia Muniain and her uncle Donnie Rossini.

   Toni was blessed to have a close and loving family, many friends, co-workers and students who will miss her daily. She touched many lives.

   A Memorial Service will be held for Toni at Oakdale Memorial Chapel on Saturday, January 24th at 10:00 a.m., burial to follow.
