Susan H. Souza, 68, passed away on Tuesday, May 13 in Modesto.

She was born in San Leandro, California.

She was a resident of Oakdale for the past 10 years.

Mrs. Souza was a cook for 21 years. She enjoyed bingo, crocheting, camping and fishing with her family.

Survivors include her five children, Rick Souza, Modesto; Dean Souza, Dublin; Darlene Everett, Oakdale; Loreen Salvi, Missoula, Montana and Nicholas Souza, Oakdale; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard L. Souza; brothers, Jerry Silva and Mike Silva.

A service will be held on Wednesday, May 21 at 12 p.m. at Holy Angels Funeral and Cremation Center, 1051 Harder Road, Hayward. Burial to follow immediately.
