Shelley Ruth Boston, 68, went to be with her Lord on September 11, 2018. She was born September 14, 1949 to Willard and Florence Williams in Oakland, CA. She had a love for horses at a young age, that then in turn led to her success as a well-known horse trainer and showman. Her love continued as she moved to Paradise, CA with her parents where they opened Pine Ridge Ranch.

She held horse shows, judged horse shows, along with being a 4-H leader, and training and giving riding lessons. She moved her family to Oakdale, CA in 1989 and continued her career in bookkeeping. She loved animals, reading, but mostly she loved her family. She leaves behind her son John Boston (Michelle), daughters Stephanie Hicks (Justin) and Kim Pennell. She also leaves behind 11 grandkids and seven great grandkids. The service will be held Friday, September 21, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Sierra Foothills Community Church, 1040 W. F Street, Oakdale, CA, reception to follow.
