Ronald “Red” Bader Sr. passed away at his Escalon home of 58 years on Saturday, November 27, 2021. Ron was born in Los Angeles, California on June 29, 1930.
Ron lived by the Louis L’Amour quote, “In the end, it is up to the man what he becomes, and none of those other things matter. In horses, dogs and men, it is character that counts.” He was a long time dairy farmer. He was an avid hunter, and a talented dog and horse trainer.
Ron is preceded in passing by his mother and father, and his granddaughters, Rachel Patrick and Jasmine Garcia. Ron leaves behind his sweetheart of 39 years, Janice Corbitt, children, Robynn Suko, of Acampo, Ron Bader Jr. of Twain Harte, and Leila Bader of Turlock, grandchildren, Sarah Griffith of Stockton, Ryan Suko of Acampo, Conrad Bader of Escalon, Lauren Bader of Livermore, Deitrich Bader of Twain Harte, Selena Garcia of Turlock, and Senior Airman Sergio Garcia, currently stationed in Great Falls, MT, as well as three great-grandchildren.
Deegan Funeral Chapel is honored to serve the Bader family. A memorial service will take place at Deegan Escalon Chapel (1441 San Joaquin Street, Escalon CA) on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 1 p.m., with reception to follow.
