Roberta Ann Buerer, 38, died suddenly on Monday, Nov. 5.

She was born in Okinawa, Japan. She lived in Lodi for a period of time and made her home in Oakdale for 15 years.

Mrs. Buerer was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

She was a cashier and a mother. She belonged to River Oak Grace Church and Celebrate Recovery.

She is survived by her husband, Jason Buerer; children, Cheyenne Sierra Marie Ro, Dean Anthony Brown; father- and mother-in-law, Tim and Ruth Bell; sister- and brother-in-law, Penny and Glenn Smith; and two nieces.

A service will be held at 4 p.m. today, Wednesday, Nov. 14 at River Oak Grace Church, Oakdale. A celebration of life will follow the service.
