Michael S. McDonald was born on May 2, 1991, to Karon L. McDonald and Larry McDonald in San Ramon, California and he left this earth to gain his wings on June 26, 2018. Michael is survived by: his mother, Karon; grandfather John; three sisters, Jessica and Steve, Alicia and David, Shayna; stepbrother Donald and Danica; close family friend, Jake; Great Uncle Randy and Aunt Judy; Aunt Brooke and Uncle James; Uncle Gary and Aunt Kristina; nephews and niece, John, Joel, Billy, Nolan and Kaitlyn; cousins Mary, Brandon, Ian, Ryan, Alexis, Matthew and Tina; and his cat, Tux.

Michael grew up in Oakdale, California from the age of three years old. Michael graduated from Oakdale High School in 2009 and attended Columbia College. Throughout his life, Michael was an avid train enthusiast and he absolutely loved to watch baseball. Michael was a diehard Giants fan and rarely, if ever, missed a game. Michael participated as an athlete in many Special Olympic events including softball, bowling and basketball, for which he earned numerous medals. He enjoyed playing video games (especially with his nephews) and watching his favorite shows including Family Guy and Ghost Adventures. Michael left this earth far too soon and is forever missed and loved by those he left behind.

A Celebration of Michael’s Life will be held on October 14, 2018, at the Oakdale Gladys Lemmons Senior Center, 450 E. A Street, Oakdale, California, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The family welcomes all who knew Michael to attend and celebrate his life with them.
