Michael David McMahon (60), known to family and friends as “Mickey or Pooh”, was called home to be with Our Lord, on Oct 21, 2018, in Grangeville Idaho. His sudden passing will be felt by many who knew him as the Oakdale High School’s 1976 class clown, friend, and Pastor.

Mick was born to his parents, Marva and Coach Jim McMahon on Feb. 2, 1958. Mick was the third generation of four to attend Oakdale High School, where he was active in sports and “Pranks”. Golf was his passion while attending MJC and Stanislaus State, when he became the asst. Pro at Oakdale Golf and Country Club. Continuing on to attend Nazarene Bible College in Colorado, then receiving his Masters at Eastern Nazarene College and Southwestern Seminary. This is where he met and married Helen L. Chamberlain in 1988 and later raised two handsome sons, Donald James 20, and John Michael 18. They were and are their parents pride and joy and very loved.

Mick served as an ordained Nazarene Minister in MA, AZ, CA, and PA. After he and Helen were traveling evangelists for many years. Mick spent 25+ years bringing God’s Word, laughter and joy to all that crossed his path.

Mick is survived by his parents, Marva and Jim McMahon, his brother Bill McMahon (Kate) of Grangeville, Idaho. His Loving family Helen, Donald, and John McMahon of PA, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces nephews and cousins.

Those who knew Mick will remember his great sense of humor, and jokes. He will be sorely missed and never forgotten.

Please join us in a celebration of Mick’s life and “story telling” on December 28, 2018, 2 p.m. at the Nazarene Church in Oakdale Ca.
