Margaret Aletha Freitas, 91, of Sonora died Wednesday, July 23, 2014.

She was born Aug. 3, 1922 in Fargo, ND. She worked as a Weigh Master. She lived in Sonora for nine years.

Survivors include her children, Milo D. Menard, Pamela L. Collinsworth and Donna R. Snell; grandchildren Korina Blazeby, Milo Menard II, Jennifer Hurtado, Jason Collinsworth and Courtney Snell; and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Carlos F. Freitas.

Graveside services were conducted on Monday, July 28 at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, Escalon.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
