Louis Eagleton

a resident of Tuolomne County for 42 years, passed away at his home in Sonora on February 11, 2015, he was 77 years old. Born in San Francisco to Bud and Lottie on November 25, 1937. He served in the Navy where he was an Electronics Technician. Ray became a Service Trainer for Montgomery Wards, then owned and operated   Eagleton’s Refrigeration Heating and Air Conditioning for over 40 year’s. Ray loved fishing, camping and getaway’s to Nevada. Ray was a member of Sonora Moose Lodge.

He is survived by his beloved life partner Bette Spaulding, and dog Fuzzy, of Sonora, CA; son Ed and Heather Eagleton, of Oakdale, CA; son James Eagleton, of Oakdale, CA; daughter Shelly and Brian Tapia, of Challenge, CA; son Rick and Kim Eagleton, of Newburg, OR; Neil and Eric Spaulding, of CO; Ray had twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A Memorial will take place on Saturday, February 21, at 10 A.M., at Heuton Memorial Chapel, 400 S. Stewart Street, Sonora, CA. Immediately following a gathering of Remembrance to be held at Best Western Hotel, 19551 Hess Ave, Sonora, CA. (In the Oak Glen Room)
