Joan Ellen Stadler, 51, died Friday, Nov. 22 in Oakdale.

She was born in Santa Monica to Ken and Mary Ann Stadler.

Ms. Stadler loved her hometown and the beach.

She will forever live in the hearts of her family and many friends.

She is survived by her parents; and sister, Barbara Joy Hobron, all of Oakdale.

She did not want to have a service or tears. She wished to have her ashes scattered off the coast of Santa Monica.
