Ida L. Raye, a lifelong resident of Oakdale, CA passed away on March 15, 2021.
Ida was born June 29, 1933 in El Reno, Oklahoma. She was 87 at the time of her death. Ida was preceded in death by her parents Etta and Ernest Emery and brothers Don and Ralph Emery and her sisters Opal Wooldridge and Ruby Cory, also her husband Marvin Halstead and her son Michael Halstead. She is survived by her sister Viola Brooks and her daughter Sheryl (Shari) Guy and her six beloved grandchildren Pameth Bosser, Raymond Guy, Krishna Guy, Michael Guy, Shane Guy and Chasity Halstead Kassay. She also leaves behind 13 great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren.
Ida spent her last years enjoying life by going to church, spending time with family and friends and playing Bingo. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. There was a Celebration of Life on May 1, 2021 at 1 p.m. at 3126 Stanislaus Street in Riverbank, CA.
