Helen Moore, 81, passed away Thursday March 23, 2017. She was born in Dilia, NM to Ofrendo and Marina Adela Gallegos. Helen lived in Modesto for over 50 years and worked as a waitress. In addition to being a homemaker, she was a member of the Moose Lodge and was a great dancer. She and her husband were always engaging themselves in dancing at the Moose Lodge. She was also a member of the Catholic church and an animal lover. Helen was a true angel on Earth and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her sisters, Tillie Gallegos of Knights Ferry, CA; Rosalee (Joe) Rael of Pueblo, CO; Ophelia Davis of Lawton, OK; brother, Andrew Gallegos of Dilia, NM; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy C. Moore; her parents; her sisters, Della Dolling and Delores Wilson; and a brother, Meryhildo Gallegos. A private service will be held.
