EULAH MAY CLINKENBEARD

Eulah May Clinkenbeard, a long-time resident of Oakdale, CA, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at her home with her children by her side.
Eulah was born in Alpaugh, CA. She was the daughter of Warren B. and Nora M. (Hahn) Goreham. She married Burlan T. Clinkenbeard on April 9, 1942 in Reno, NV. He preceded her in death.
Eulah was a faithful wife and homemaker for 74 years and was an active member of her church. She loved to sew, quilt and embroider as well as working in her yard and tending her rose bushes.
She leaves behind four sons, Jimmy R. (Susan) Clinkenbeard, Reno, NV, Vernon W. Clinkenbeard, Elk Grove, CA, Alan J. Clinkenbeard, Clearwater ID, and Kenneth L. Clinkenbeard, Oakdale, CA; two daughters, Linda J. (Don) Peeples and Susan M. (Scott) Schram; as well as 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. One son, Johnny Clinkenbeard, three sisters, Mildred Cook, Lucille (Myrt) Jackson, and Katherine (Kate) Stewart and three brothers, Harold Goreham, Vernon (Vernie) Goreham and Warren (Junior) Goreham preceded her in death.
Visitation was Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Oakdale Memorial Chapel from 4 – 6 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Citizens Cemetery in Oakdale, CA at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Wayne Warren presiding. There will forever be an empty place in our hearts, while waiting to see our precious mother another day in that city on a hill. Donations can be made to Community Hospice at 4368 Spyres Way, Modesto, CA in remembrance of Eulah.
