Donald ‘Charles’ Boss, 69, died peacefully on Wednesday, Aug. 14 at his Oakdale home.

He was born in Arizona and moved to Oakdale at a young age with his parents and brothers. He graduated from Oakdale High School in 1962. During high school he met his wife-to-be Inez Becker, and together they raised two sons, Craig and Eric.

Mr. Boss worked for over 30 years as an electrician for the Libbey Owens Ford Glass Co. in Lathrop (LOF).

His favorite hobbies were hunting, fishing and watching football especially with his friends from work and his two sons. In February of this year he prayed and accepted Christ as his savior.

On his last fishing trip in July he caught a 20-pound sturgeon to go along with all the other items on his bucket list.

He is survived by his wife, Inez Boss; sons, Craig and Eric of Oakdale; brother, Larry Boss of Modesto; and many cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Jewell Boss; brothers, Kenneth Boss, Earl Boss; and many cousins and friends.
