Craig McClanahan, 67, of Muscatine, formerly of California passed away on August 19, 2020 at his home. There will be no services or visitation held at this time. Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com. Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine, is caring for Craig’s arrangements.

Craig McClanahan was born on April 18, 1953 in California, the son of Robert and Shirley McClanahan. Craig first married Elaine Mankins and together they had two children. They later divorced. On December 25, 2000, Craig was united in marriage to Glenda Taber in Las Vegas. Craig was a business owner of different businesses throughout California most recently being a cabinet maker. Craig enjoyed anything to do with cars, most recently he was in to watching YouTube videos with his son learning more about cars. Since moving to Muscatine being closer to his son, Jason, Craig has enjoyed getting to know his grandchildren better and spending time with them. He will always be remembered for giving his son a hard time with anything.

Craig was deeply missed by his son, Jason (Renee) McClanahan of Muscatine; step-son, Lucas Taber of San Diego, California; grandchildren, Amanda Jean Muzzy, Gregory Muzzy, Sethan Whitlow, Porscha McClanahan, Cody McClanahan, Brenton Whitlow, Rypleigh McClanahan and Gracyn McClanahan; brothers, Guy (Pam) McClanahan of Oakdale, California and Robert (Misty Miller) McClanahan of Mason City, Iowa; sister, Kim (John) Bracells of Oakdale, California and several nieces and nephews.

Craig was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Glenda in 2019 and daughter, Tracy Muzzy in 2008.
