Chuck Fowler, 42, of Oakdale passed away the evening of Thursday, March 6.

He was born in Santa Clara. He was raised on a ranch in Valley Home and moved to Oakdale at the age of 18. He attended Valley Home School and graduated from Oakdale High School in 1989. He played football for OHS and rodeo. He also attended classes at Modesto Junior College.

Mr. Fowler was a passionate man who knew how to inspire people. He loved the community and cared deeply for the people in it. Coaching was one of his biggest joys, as well as playing Santa Claus for families.

He left a huge impact on River Oak Grace Celebrate Recovery and youth ministries where he was a leader. He was a big part of helping people change lives.

He was a man who knew how to love with no holding back. He was the life of the party and would do anything to make people laugh.

His favorite things to do were spending time with his family and friends camping, barbeque, Mustang football, Nascar, and Giants and 49er games.

He was a humble servant of God who served with a cheerful heart.

He is survived by his wife, Desiree Fowler; daughter, Mackenzie Fowler; son, Christopher Fowler; grandmother, Florence Green; mother, Edie Parker; stepfather, Bob Parker; brother, John Fowler; sisters, Khris Hunter, Angie Pearson; uncles, Bill Null, Steve Green; nephews, Mathew Fowler, Jonathon Hunter; nieces, Michelle Arender, Christina Anderson, Maggie Hunter, Jordan Hunter, Sam Hunter, Victoria Moon, and Victoria Proctor.

He was preceded in death by his father, Martin Fowler.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 29 at River Oak Grace Community Church, 7712 Rodden Road, Oakdale.
