Charley Loyd Smith, 70, died Thursday, April 22.

He resided in Kerman, Oakdale, and Los Banos, before finally moving to North Las Vegas, Nevada.

He was a beloved father, a friend to many and a country boy at heart. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his sons, David and Chuck; daughters, Teresa and Sheila; and nine grandchildren.

His final resting place is Las Vegas, Nev.
