This past weekend our community came together to celebrate Christmas in Valley Home. Folks gathered in downtown Valley Home at 6 pm on Saturday. Our Lighted Christmas Parade was a beautiful sight to behold. Our 2021 Parade Grand Marshal Mr. Jerry Benedix led the parade throughout Valley Home! The Grand Marshal’s float was decorated with hundreds of sparkling Christmas lights, with many of our Grand Marshal’s family riding with him on the float. After the parade we enjoyed Christmas carols, “The Nativity”, hot Christmas chocolate, and “Bonnie’s Cookie Exchange”. And then it snowed in Valley Home; the children loved getting to play as manmade snow ‘fell’ from above. It was a special night in Valley Home!
