Excitement in Valley Home! Our Community Lighted Christmas Parade will be held on Friday, December 20th. The parade will begin at 6:30pm and will be held rain or shine! This year the parade will be held on Friday so that folks will be able to have the weekend to prepare for Christmas! You are invited to bring your safe and lighted parade entry, and be in line before 6:15pm. Line-up will be near the community park and school. Best viewing area is in front of the Texas Avenue campus. Bring a chair and enjoy the fun! The parade goes three times around the block and is usually about 15 minutes long, then we meet at the park where the Parade Grand Marshal Mr. Taylor will light the community Christmas tree! We will sing two Christmas carols together then cross the street to the toasty warm gym and enjoy a delicious community potluck dinner. Everyone is invited to bring their favorite dish to share! Valley Home 4-H will provide two turkeys, two hams, rolls, Christmas punch, hot chocolate, and dinnerware for all. Any questions please call Winnie at 209-985-5233.
