Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Arrest

Oakdale Police officers arrested a 50-year-old Oakdale man late Thursday night, March 4 on multiple drug charges after a traffic stop revealed a large amount of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, a digital scale, and plastic baggies inside the man’s vehicle.

According to police reports, Todd Allen Skaggs was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center for possession of a controlled substance for sales. Skaggs attracted the arresting officer’s attention with a motor vehicle violation. Skaggs, who has a history of previous arrests, was driving alone when he was pulled over.
