The main intersection of Yosemite and F Street was a busy place on Sunday, June 14 – and the Oakdale Lions Club made sure that there were plenty of flags in evidence to commemorate the observance of Flag Day. Club members put up the flags along the main highway and several side streets in the downtown area early Sunday, leaving them up throughout the day. Meanwhile, traffic flow was at a high level, as people ventured out on the roadways amid loosening of stay-at-home restrictions.
