SPRING PLANTING

While this week’s weather forecast has more rain than blue skies predicted, Oakdale Garden Club members Marilyn and Bob Taylor took advantage of the recent good weather to clean up and add flowers to planters at several locations around the city. They are looking for ‘adoptees’ to sponsor planters, at a cost of $40 apiece, to provide a splash of color throughout the year. The Oakdale Garden Club meets the third Tuesday of the month, 10 a.m., at the Bianchi Community Center and more members are always welcome. The Club tends about two dozen planters in town; call 209-848-8746 for more information.
