Oakdale Police officers will be wearing pink in October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. OPD’s uniformed personnel hopes by wearing their pink police patches, people are reminded to spread the word about preventing this devastating disease. One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. OPD is happy to join the Pink Patch Project to partner with local charities on this cause. All proceeds will support breast cancer awareness, support, and services to those throughout the local region.
