Raindrops add extra twist for Rodeo parade, arena events
Clown417
Not afraid to do a little splashing around in the mud, rodeo clown Hippie Engelkes brought plenty of energy, enthusiasm and entertainment to the crowd attending the Saturday and Sunday afternoon rodeo action at the Oakdale Saddle Club Rodeo Grounds.

Despite earlier predictions of sunny skies and temperatures in the 70s, Saturday brought plenty of rain for the annual Rodeo Parade in Oakdale. It also meant a sloppy arena for competitors in the annual PRCA Rodeo hosted by the Oakdale Saddle Club but the weather did not seem to dampen the spirits of those attending – or participating in – the weekend events.

Crowds turned out in force to watch the April 13 parade as well as the two days of rodeo, April 13 and 14.
