Oglesby Tapped As DMC New Chief Nursing Officer

Doctors Medical Center in Modesto has appointed Misty Oglesby, MSN, RN, NE-BC, as its new Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). The appointment was effective May 23, 2023.

Oglesby assumes responsibility for all nursing and designated patient care functions within Doctors Medical Center including assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating nursing practice.

Oglesby comes to the Central Valley from Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic Division in Pennsylvania where she served as CNO of Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital and Regional Chief Nursing Officer for First Choice Staffing, Centralized Bed Planning and Transfer Center, Nursing Education, Pharmacy and EMS, covering five hospitals in two states. Prior to her time with Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, Oglesby served as Service Line Nurse Administrator at Mayo Clinic Florida and Nurse Manager at UF Health Jacksonville.

Oglesby earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Master of Science in Nursing Administration from the University of Phoenix and is currently working to complete her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree.
