Soroptimist International of Oakdale is seeking Junior Class girls to participate in the Distinguished Young Women of Oakdale for the Class of 2017 scholarship program. Over $6,000 in college scholarships and the Distinguished Young Woman of Oakdale title will be awarded at the program to be held Feb. 13, 2016 at Magnolia School Auditorium. Participants need not attend Oakdale High School, but must live within the 95361 zip code.

An informational meeting will be held at Oakdale High School on Monday, Nov. 16 during lunch period in Mr. Simoncini’s classroom for those interested in learning more about the program. For additional information, contact Nancy Lilly at (209) 847-6488.
