At the MAC meeting last Thursday minutes of the Board of Supervisors were read that pertained to the Ferry. The county decided to defend the appeal on the dismissal of claim in inverse condemnation by Nicholas Honchariw and to file a cross-appeal for recovery of attorney for filing and maintaining a frivolous lawsuit. Also settled in the case of Audubon Society vs. Willms Ranch. The County accepted the resignation of Cliff Howse and his position can be filled by July 24th or it will remain vacant until the next election. The AT&T building project has been deferred to early 2015.
