Congratulations go out to the April Students of the Month at Knights Ferry School: Kindergarten- Tristan Voortman, 1st/2nd- Kyla Ryan and Wyatt Sousa, 3rd/4th- Vincent Peterson and Dakota Voortman, 5th/6th- Olivia Doshas and Alex Arias, and 7th/8th- Tyden Baker and Jose Garcia.

Lisa Dolling and her sister Rosie Paulat and two other friends spent the weekend in Murphys where they did a bit of wine tasting and relaxing.

Condolences go out to the family of Ernie Sawyer on his death. He was a big fan of the Ferry.

Jim and Diane Boyer have returned from Oregon where they met up with their son Stuart, his wife Rosalie and granddaughter Adaya. Oregon is a halfway point for the families and Stuart had been to a Pastors conference on the coast. They stayed in Redmond at the Eagle Crest Resort.

Pat Johnson took her Third and Fourth grade class to World of Wonder Science Museum in Lodi. It is like a small Exploratorium. There were many hands-on activities, like Magna Tiles, microscopes, Light Table, plasma ball, Ferro Fluid, Pendulum Snake, Parabolic dishes and many more. Pat said the students did not want to leave!

The Knights Ferry Museum has some new items. Denise Crom donated quilt stretchers; Mary Ann Brennan Strom donated a settee, chair and sewing machine from her dad’s estate.

Knights Ferry Parent Teacher Club is sponsoring a Talent Show/Dinner on May 15th at 5:00 p.m. Contact the school if you want a tri-tip dinner.

Knights Ferry School Board will meet May 8th at 5:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.

Knights Ferry Garden Club will meet at 9:00 a.m. at the flag pole in the cemetery on May 14th. Bring a sack lunch and we will eat on Maureen’s patio.
