Dates for your calendar: January 3, Knights Ferry Community Club dessert meeting at the clubhouse at 7:00 p.m. January 6th is Breakfast Sunday in the Ferry from 8:00 to noon. The History and Museum associates meet Tuesday, January 15 at Millers Hall at 9:00 a.m. The Knights Ferry Garden Club will not have a meeting this month. The Knights Ferry School Board will meet January 17th at the school at 6:30 p.m. The M.A.C. meeting will resume after a winter break on January 24th at the clubhouse at 7:00 p.m.

Congratulations to Sara Harris for passing her finals exam for her Doctorate and now all is left is her dissertation. Then we can call her Doctor Harris.

Christmas found many Knights Ferry families at home celebrating quietly. The Bill Wearin family gathered at their home and the Ken Morris family did likewise. The Shearer’s went to daughter Patti Sandoval’s home where Jeff Shearer, Lisa and toddler Wyatt were there. The Shook family had a Christmas in shifts with each child and their families. Lynn Burroughs, home from Colorado, got a Shih-Tzu puppy that he named Gunney.

Last Wednesday night at the 50’s Roadhouse there was much celebrating. Fred Dolling had a birthday party there and Lisa Frymire and Charlie Mynatt also celebrated. All were the recipients of the “Birthday Song.”

Bob Hunter reports that he has another set of twin great grandchildren. Meredith and Brady Knudtson had their third set of twins on December 3rd. Thane Brady Hunter Knudtson weighed in at 4 pounds 10 ounces and Vera Linda Leigh Knudtson weighed in at 4 pounds 6 ounces. They join twins Julia and Gabriella (12 years), twins Lucia and Elsa (4 years) and Cambria (2 years). Grandparents are Scott and Linda Knudtson of Liberty, Utah. Bob and Lis Whalen went to see the new arrivals in Dublin and got to hold them. Bob says they were so small!
