There was a very large turnout for the Feast put on by the Junior High students of Knights Ferry School. The tables were decorated with fall leaf placemats and turkeys and fall trees made of paper bags. Kaeli Sweet and Rilyn Cassaretto liked decorating the tables. Destiny Machado enjoyed preparing the food. Brandi Cardey liked the cooking of the food. Mikali Willis helped Mrs. Brockman organize the dinner. Eden Cassinetto liked decorating with the placemats. Jazzlynn Velasquez liked making the turkeys for the tables. Alyssa Sisco and Katherine Ramirez also liked decorating. Kim McCarthy’s preschool children came with leaf garlands to eat the good food. Katee Conde liked the turkey. Sydney Turner liked the pie. Bowen Sundberg enjoyed the pumpkin pie. Landyn Peachman also liked the pie. Savanna McCarthy liked the stuffing. It was good to see so many enjoying the food and friendship.

Tomorrow, Thursday December 4th is the Community Club Christmas dinner at 6 p.m. in the clubhouse. The Oakdale High School choir will perform. The club will do the turkey, ham, potatoes and gravy and everyone else bring sides, salads or desserts. The club is also collecting canned goods and unwrapped toys for needy families in the area.

Maureen and Michael McKibban had their son Ross and grandchildren Luke and Cole to their home for Thanksgiving. The boys enjoyed going to the river to see the salmon.

There will be a parade on Breakfast Sunday, December 7 at noon. Line up at the River’s Edge at 11:30 a.m. Also check out MADE next to the Ice Cream Parlor.

Carol Davis had all her children and grandchildren over for Thanksgiving. They went to the river to check on the salmon and helped Carol put up her Christmas lights on the house.

The Muniain family had Thanksgiving with our local Dick Muniain attending and his sister Eunice Gire and her husband Sid came down from Washington State.

Knights Ferry Community Church will have Christmas Eve Service on the 24th at 6 p.m.
