Congratulations to the Knights Ferry School alumni as their high school graduation day approaches! If you would like to cheer on the graduates, Oakdale High School’s graduation is Friday, May 24 at 7pm. The Oakdale High School graduates are Katherine Ramirez, Alyssa Sisco, Eden Cassinetto, Kaeli Sweet, Wyatt Dickens, Brooks Bonde, and Dayne Sturtevant. The graduates from East Stanislaus High School are Angel Limon and Brandy Cardey.

The Knights Ferry School Talent show was on May 16th. It was moved to the Community Club due to rain! The coordinators and students put on a fantastic show and everyone really enjoyed themselves. Huxley Higgins rolled around on his rollerblades to “TNT” by AC/DC and River McCarthy and Jordyn Lewis sang “Riptide” by Vance Joy. Brenda Canterbury did a fantastic job chairing this memorable event!

Thank you to all the local friends who ate Mountain Mike’s Pizza in Oakdale in support of the 8th grade graduation costs! They are excited for the big day on May 30 at 7pm.
The 6th and 7th graders are hard at work raising money for their Washington, D.C. trip next year. They sold hot dogs at the Fair Oaks Elementary School Family Fun Night and it was very successful! Thank you Debbie Santillanes for connecting our school with Fair Oaks Elementary.

There is a U-Pick Blueberry orchard out on Old Sonora Road. They are open Monday through Saturday! They are delicious local blueberries ripe for the picking!
