Michael and Maureen McKibban have returned from vacationing in Oregon. They drove to Seaside, a small resort town just south of Astoria that is the oldest resort area in Oregon. They stayed in an 1880s house on the beach with friends. It rained every day, but some days were just misty. They toured the Tillamook Cheese Factory. On the way home, they stopped in Ashland and took in the play “Hamlet” that was done in modern dress but the old speech. Coming by Shasta they hit a snowstorm and just about had to stop, but Michael crept along slowly and they were fine.
