The Knights Ferry School’s jogathon was full of color last Friday! The school decided to do a color run and it was a wild success. Family and friends cheered while sponsored booths showered the runners with clouds of pink, orange, blue, green, and yellow. The kids started with white shirts and ended with bright colors from head to toe and a good time was had by all! The school held a jogathon spirit poster contest and the winners’ posters were proudly printed as large signs by Signature Signs to add some spirit to the school for the jogathon. The poster winner for kindergarten through third grade was Ashtyn Sibley and the winner for fourth grade through eighth grade was Levi Dickens! Congratulations to the students who raised the most money in each class: Jacelyn McDonald (1st grade), Kyle Mangante (2nd grade), Taylor Witzke (3rd grade), Julian Arias (4th grade), Tristan McCarthy (5th grade), Chloe Ridenour (6th grade), Aubrey Mendonca (7th grade), and River McCarthy (8th grade). Congratulations to the students who ran the most laps in each class: Carson Merritt (Kindergarten), Liam Voortman (1st grade), Colin Gibson and Wyatt Birdsong (2nd grade), Darren Barth (3rd grade), Adam Chiara (4th grade), Easton Ehrlich (5th grade), David Kouassi and James Peterson (6th grade), Levi Dickens (7th grade), and Vincent Peterson (8th grade). It was by the far the most successful jogathon to date raising $18,000. The jogathon was led by Brandy Mangante and her team of amazing PTC volunteers. Great job, Knights Ferry School!
