Registrar Of Voters Seeks Poll Workers
Stan County

Registrar of Voters, Lee Lundrigan invites volunteers 18 or older who are registered California voters to become part of the election process by serving as Poll Workers on Tuesday, Nov. 7. Bilingual Poll Workers are also needed.

Poll Workers play an important role and perform a wide range of duties such as opening the polls, setting up voting equipment, issuing official ballots and assisting voters. Poll Workers will receive a $95 stipend, which includes serving 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Election Day and a mandatory two-hour training class.

Volunteer applications are available online at www.stanvote.com or contact the Poll Worker Coordinator at (209) 525-5233, pollworker@stancounty.com.

“We could not run an election without Poll Workers. We appreciate citizens who devote their time and energy to community service,” stated Lundrigan.
