Saturday afternoon, Oct. 31 featured sunny skies and cool autumn temperatures, the perfect backdrop for some fun in downtown Oakdale as the city hosted its annual Halloween Parade and Festival. Families in costume filled the parade route along West G Street, making their way to the Bianchi Community Center on South Second Avenue. There, participants could enjoy games, activities, a costume contest, listening to the high school band perform and more, before heading out for trick-or-treating.
