The Oakdale Rural Fire Protection District will hold a series of strategy workshops prior to their regularly scheduled board meetings, starting Thursday, June 11 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Knights Ferry station.

The rural board adopted three focus areas for the community workshops: Revenue Generation, Operational Efficiencies and Service Delivery Model Options.

Within each focus area multiple potential strategies were identified and will be discussed at the community workshops.

The rural district is seeking a workable plan to be fiscally sound with a delivery model identified and adopted by July 1, 2022.
