Students of Oakdale High School Jazz Band including those in the percussion section, above, filled the stage of the Magnolia Elementary school theater for the Winter Concert this past week and performed under the direction of Ross McGinnis. Holiday favorites included Charlie Brown Christmas, You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch, Carol of the Bells and many others. At side, the Oakdale Intermediate Band, which performed earlier under the direction of Julie Bolme, then sat back and, along with the audience, was entertained during the latter half of the Winter Concert by the Oakdale High School Jazz Band.
