On Saturday, Feb. 6 Oakdale High School’s Academic Decathlon team brought home the trophy for the 16th consecutive year as the winners of the 36th Annual Stanislaus County Academic Decathlon. This year’s theme was “India.”
The team of 37 (nine competing members and 28 alternates) dominated the awards ceremony, collecting a total of 83 medals. The team’s overall score was a much respected 47,750, an increase from last year’s 46,964.
