The elementary school students were treated to a field trip to the historic mountain town recently. At side, fourth grade teacher Rachelle Savage was called upon to place her hands in the mining water and demonstrate its temperature. The ice cold water held treasure of minerals, gems and potential gold for Magnolia Elementary miners to pan for during their field trip.
