COVID Surge Prompts Tuolumne County Request
New TC logo

Tuolumne County Office of Emergency Services and its Public Safety Partners are asking that all non-essential travel to the County be delayed until further notice. Tuolumne County is experiencing a surge in COVID-19 cases and it is not a safe place to visit at this time.

An official press release from the county stated: “We know you enjoy visiting our beautiful forests and waterways, and we value the love and support we have received from you over the years. However, for the protection of our high-risk residents and to reduce the impact to our rural healthcare system, we are respectfully requesting you stay close to home this weekend. We look forward to welcoming you back soon.”
