Gartner Art Glass in Escalon is hosting an art and craft market on Saturday, May 4 at 1744 California St., Escalon.
Owner Cheryl Gartner makes stained glass pieces at her California Street studio, on commission and for retail sale, as well as teaches classes in the craft.
She will host the art and craft market in the studio yard, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday.
So far, she said eight artisans have indicated plans to attend with wares ranging from pottery to jewelry, mosaics to paintings, and some of Gartner’s stained glass will be available as well.
Local resident Dan Rivers – also known as Ukulele Dan – will be performing during the day.
Gartner is hoping to draw in attendees from a wide area, with the goal of hosting more events in the future.
