Oakdale resident Carol Earle smiles for the camera as she displays her first place work, ‘Winter Fox’ in the Soft Pastel Class at the Oak Valley Art Society recent fall show, hosted at the Escalon Library on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 20 and 21. The Society includes members from Escalon, Oakdale, Riverbank and beyond and the weekend event had paintings, photos and sculptures on display and also featured a reception with the artists on Sunday afternoon.
