Over 100 vendors, with arts and crafts booths, collectables and antiques, will set up shop for the day in Knights Ferry this weekend.
The Knights Ferry History and Museum Associates are putting on the 32nd annual Gold Country Peddler’s Faire on Sunday, April 27. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and there is no admission fee to get into the show. There is a $10 parking fee charged by the US Army Corps at the Corps parking areas; pay at the kiosks.
The show will be set up at the Army Corps Park along the Stanislaus River and the event is a fundraiser for the Knights Ferry Museum, which will be open throughout the day. The show is on the south side of the river in the Sonora Road Park.
It is a rain or shine event.
“This is a major fundraiser for our museum,” said Peddler’s Faire committee member Carol Davis. “We are a non-profit organization.”
Also that day, a pancake breakfast will be held at the IOOF Hall on Main Street, serving from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m.; there will be a free shuttle bus from the breakfast to the faire. The ice cream shop will be open as well as the museum, which is upstairs in Miller’s Hall.
Davis said all are welcome and encouraged to attend, as the show hosts vendors from throughout the region with unique items for sale.
