Hold on to your seats and get ready for a rollicking evening of outrageous humor and song.

Sourdough’s ‘Wild and Woolly Revue’ concert series will touch down on three dates, all Saturday nights, later this month and on in to January.

Shows are scheduled on Dec. 17, 2016 at the Sutter Creek Theatre; Jan. 7, 2017 at the Black Bart Theatre in Murphys and on Jan. 21 at the Westside Theatre in Newman.

It’s a seasonal extravaganza, Sourdough’s Wild & Wooly Revue, featuring popular Gold Country old time music makers, Sourdough Slim and The Saddle Pals, Faux Renwah, and Robert Armstrong in a once-a-year opportunity to catch all these artists in a show together.

Thrill to the mind-boggling yodeling of the infamous Sourdough Slim. Delight in the harmonious Western melodies of The Saddle Pals. Catch the wise-cracking Cactus Bob, lovely bass-thumping Prairie Flower and Michael P. Kennedy as they revel in old time music with their Faux Renwah band. Be amazed by the world champion musical saw and string instrument wizardry of Robert Armstrong.

Ticket prices range from $20 to $22 and this is a musical event not to be missed, enjoyable for fans of all ages.

The trio of regional appearances will kick off with the Saturday, Dec. 17 show at the Sutter Creek Theatre, 44 Main St., Sutter Creek, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
