The West Side Theatre in Newman will host a couple of special events in November. The venue is the beautifully restored 1940’s movie house, now a non-profit arts center.

On Saturday, Nov. 11 at 8 p.m., West Side will offer When Doves Cry - Prince Tribute.

More than just an impersonation, When Doves Cry, is a dynamic and multi-talented seven-piece band that puts the integrity of the music Prince left us above all else.

Then on Saturday, Nov. 18 at 8 p.m., join in for the Briefcase Blues Brothers Revue.

The Briefcase Blues Brothers Revue is one of top Blues Brothers Revues in the country. Michael St. John “Jake” and Martin Benatar “Elwood” have established themselves in the entertainment industry with over 40 years of experience between them. Along with surrounding themselves with a seven-piece all-star band, the Revue is a funny and blues filled show with horns and plenty of dancing music.
