Musical Acts Ready To Take West Side Stage

The September line-up has been announced at West Side Theater in Newman, with shows starting on Sept. 16.

Funky Roots to Cowboy Boots/A 50 Year Reunion Concert by 5 Boys (Originally from Modesto) is scheduled on Saturday, Sept. 16 with doors open at 7 p.m., showtime at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $15 General Admission, $20 Reserved Section and students admitted for half price. Featuring Alan Arnoploe, Bruce Edwards, Paul Forakis, Warren Haack, and Steve Hughes, members of the group have been previously involved with California Zephyr, the Wild Men, Pastorini’s Longhorn Jugband, and Montana Twang Klatch.

On Saturday, Sept. 23, the House of Floyd show takes the stage for an 8 p.m. showtime, doors open at 7 p.m.

House of Floyd is San Francisco’s immersive Pink Floyd tribute band. Rather than replicating the recorded songs of the iconic band, House of Floyd focuses on the adventurous live arrangements and sonic explorations of their namesake.

Their laser light show adds to the greatness of their music.

Tickets are $20 for General Admission, $25 Reserved Section. Students admitted for half price.

Closing out the month will be Fleetwood Mask. Performing with passion and the style of Fleetwood Mac, Fleetwood Mask gives a show long to be remembered. They are even endorsed by Mick Fleetwood himself.

Their performance is scheduled on Saturday, Sept. 30 with doors open at 7 p.m.; showtime at 8 p.m.
