Scott Yerzy and Melinda Mendoza have announced their plans to be married. The couple has set a wedding date of Aug. 13, 2011, in Berkeley, California.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Albert and Erlinda Mendoza of Oakdale. She is a 2004 graduate of Oakdale High School and will complete her Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education at CSU Fresno in May 2012. Her siblings are Molly Denmark and Albert Mendoza, Jr.
The prospective groom is the son of Fred and Ann Yerzy of Oakdale. He is a 2005 graduate of Oakdale High School and completed his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management at CSU Fresno in December 2010. He is currently working for Whiting Turner Contracting Company in Pleasanton, California, as a project engineer. His brother is Collin Yerzy.
The couple plan to reside in the Livermore area.
